That One Vintage Blogger - New and Improved

First I would like to start off by saying that I love this blog, and that I love all my veiwers who read on here from time to time. I would also like to say that this blog has made me so happy, it gives me a chance to do what i love most, write, and to know that people read it, and may even enjoy what I write means the world to me.

Although I am ashamed to admit it, I hve not been putting as much love into it as I did monthes back when I first started it, but I do love it too much to let it turn into what the path it is on right now may lead it to. Lately my posts have sucked, they lack in editing skills and basic structure and content. My pageveiws have taken a drastic fall, and have never recovered, wich is my fault for my lack of posts, bad posts, and lack of advertisement. The pictures on my blog have sucked too, they are taken on an fouth genertion IPod Touch, and are edited in a random free photo editing app. Even the way my blog looks and is set up would turn potential veiwers away.

All of those things end now, no more excuses. From this point on my blog will never be the same. I'm talking better quality and better edited posts, wich will be posted on a regular basis. More advertisement to attract more people to my blog. Better pictures taken on a REAL camera. Also more posts of what YOU want to see. Any posts you would like me to do in the future, I would love to hear about them, so leave me a comment.

I love all you guys and this blog so much, and I am so exiced to see where the future takes us and this blog. I can't wait to share with you guys all my new ideas. I have had the best time for allmost a year now with you guys and this blog, and I can't wait for all the fun and excitement in years to come.
 Love,

My Antique Shopping List

So lately I have hit a rough patch in my antique collecting. I know I already have a good amount of antiques, but can you really blame me for wanting more. For now I am giving my wallet a break, but if I see any of the items on this list for a good deal, not even an army could stop me from buying them. Some of these are rare and expensive, others I just haven't gotten around to collect them. Hopefully I can get my hands on these soon, and when I do, I'll make sure to post about them.

1. A record player and more records
-so in my 5 tips on collecting old records post, I mentioned that I am collecting old records, while searching for the perfect record player. Sadly, I still haven't found one yet. And as for records, I can usually find a way to get them for cheap, so there is no harm in wanting more of those.

2. A typewriter
- I know, I know, it's so typical writer of me to want a typewriter, but can you blame me when the are so freaking cool!? But I don't see me buying one in the near future, unless I get a really, really good deal on one.

3. Vintage gloves
- How can I feel like a classy lady from the 1950s without some more vintage gloves? These aren't generally that expensive, so I might be buying some more pairs soon.

4. Vintage purses
- I am ashamed to admit that I surprisingly do not own any vintage purses. I personally am not that big of a purse fan, as long as it fits my stuff that's usually enough for me. But I want to branch out a bit and buy maybe 1 or 2 vintage purses.

5. Vintage jewelry box
- So if you want to know what my current jewelry situation is, just imagine a and explosion of pearls everywhere. This find would help me get a lot more organized.

6. Vintage magazines
- I don't really know why I want them, I just think they would be cool.

7. Vintage sweaters
- It is just really hard to find a vintage sweater in good condition, so I'm keeping my eyes open, because I need more to go with all my vintage skirts.

8. 1950s cat eye sunglasses
- I have looked everywhere and still haven't found a good pair. Witch really sucks because a pair of those could boost my summer style from a 5 to a 10 in three seconds flat

9. Little vintage boxes
- I don't really know how to describe them, but I see them in antique stores, and I think they would be really cute to store little random things in.

10. A vintage barbie doll
- I know it's sounds childish, but for some reason I have a weird fascination with barbie. My only problem is I want some of the first kinds I barbies ever made, and on eBay they range from $299-$1,000. So I'm hoping to find a seller who has no idea of its worth, and buy it for cheap.

11. Old camera
- The only thing with this one is that I like things to be in working condition, I want to actually use them insted of just sitting them on a shelf, so I would like to maybe find a working camera, wich might be a bit much to ask for.

12. Old radio
- Same thing with the camera, I want it to still work, so that may be hard to find

13. Gossip bench/telephone table
- The only thing holding me back from buying one of these is that I have no place to store it. :(

14. An old telephone
- So I have wanted one of these for the longest time, and I don't know why I haven't bought one yet. I just really want to feel like I was in 'Telephone Hour' from Bye Bye Birdie. :)

15. Chenille Bedspread
- I am so in love with these, if you follow me on Pinterest you would see a ton of chenille bedspread pins. I want one extremely bad, the only thing is I want one in good condition that isn't stained and that doesn't look worn. I could honestly marry a chenille breadspread-that is just how bad I want one.

16. Kidney shaped vanity with skirt
- I think it is safe to say that I am in love with these. Although I currnetly have a vanity from the 60s/70s, My heart cant help from leaping out of its chest everytime I see a picture of one on the interent.

That does not even scratch the surface of antique items I want to buy, but I thought I would just share some with you guys. When I do buy them, I will edit the post and mark that I had bought it, along with the link to the post about it. I might be making another one of these in the future too. Have a great day!
Love,
T
