Summer to Fall - An Original Poem

Summer To Fall

Summer nights are fading fast, although these careless days weren't mean to last. Toes in the sand, fun in the sun, but now a new era has begun. I say farewell to our reckless love, as vibrant leaves fall from above. People will say it doesn't mean a thing, that you were just a summer fling. But I hold you closely to my heart, as changing seasons rip us apart.

So, I have never really shared my poetry or writing like this on the internet before, but I have been feeling super creative lately, so I don't know, maybe I might start sharing more.
