August Reading List

As you all probably know by now, I love reading. I only mention it like all the time. So I thought I would share with you all what I am planning on reading this month. Hopefully you can maybe find a new book to read this August.

1. Into The Wild

This first one is one of my absolute favorites. It's a story that truly connects with me on an intense level. It's such a deep story, that holds so many profound messages about life and how it should be lived. Whenever I read this story I always get so attached to the main character, because of the way he can look at the world through such a different pair of eyes, and somehow it all makes sense. Definitely a must read for anyone, it doesn't matter which genre you like.

2. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

I just picked this book up from the store a day ago, and although I haven't had the chance to read it yet, I am a hard core Harry Potter fan, and I have a hunch it will be amazing. From what my sister and the Internet have told me about the book, I can tell its going to be action packed, and I won't be able to put it down.

3. How to be a Heroine

I started reading this book in July, but I only had the chance to read the first 3 chapters. So far it is really amazing and empowering, and jam packed with feminist inspiration. It's all about important females from influential books, and what can be learned from them. So obviously this book is just my type, and I think some of you would love it too.

4. The Sun Also Rises

Recently I have decided that I wanted to read more classic literature, so naturally I picked up some Hemingway. I have heard so many good things about his books, I mean obviously he is one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. One of his most popular books is The Sun Also Rises, so I decided to start with this one.

5. The Alchemist

This one I have to read for my summer reading assignment for English. Most of the time I don't end up liking books I have to read for school, but I hope this one is different. I have heard some good things about it. Lets just hope it's not too hard to write an essay on.

Thats all for this month, if you want to hear if I liked these books or not, I'll mention it in a favorites post sometime soon.
